SENSIS HYDROMASSAGE / 195 By using the vertical jets you have the possibility to benefit from a different type if hydrotherapy, the Lymph drainage. This type of therapy consists of activating a sequence of jets from bottom to top, the duration of time and the frequency of alternation could vary, thus simulating the principle of manual Lymph drainage, which will help eliminate retained liquids, especially in the legs. This technique benefits the lymphatic and circulatory systems. A pulsating effect of approximately 3 seconds is also possible through the other jets. HYDROTHERAPY The jets work as a massage, as the water pressure works on the skin and muscle to tone and stimulate circulation. In order to feel the full benefit of these messages, the jets must be directed to the right spots on the body and by regulating the type of jet pulse. Our jets for hydromassage are at 15º angles and can be adjusted to all directions for the precise use on the right spot to be massaged. There are three types of jets, regulated by the rotation of the nozzle, in order to give you the best and most appropriate massage possible: a concentra- ted jet, strong and vigorous, and well positioned; five needle jets, with a fine but strong spray for an ultimate massage effect; five pulsating jets which project water in short intervals to create a pulsating, regenerating and enlivening effect. To make the handling and cleaning of the hydromassage jet easier, it is composed of a textured rubber ring which is a material that facilitates rotation. Cleaning the openings of the jet with small holes is made easier due to the anti-limestone rubber, only needing a light rub to be cleaned. Above the back rest is the waterfall (depending on the model) making a powerful jet massage on the neck and back possible. There is also an extractable hand shower and a top shower head. LYMPH DRAINAGE The Turkish Bath consists of saturating the air with hot vapour and being expose to this environment for some period of time, after which a cold shower is taken. As a result of the rise in temperature and the consequent sudation of the body, this technique has a purifying effect on the body, as it deeply cleanses the skin and helps to release toxins and fat, reduce stress and relieve muscular pain. Used regularly, it will help increase resistance to illnesses, primarily infections. It is a wonderful treatment for colds, but it should be avoided when you are very weak from a cold or flu. It is advisable that you consult your physician in order to ensure that yourstate of health is sufficient for the use of these treatments. In order to gradually adapt to the difference in temperature and humidity, we advise you to progressively increase your exposure to the vapour which is easily done by using the electronic control panel. During a session you may massage the body with a massage glove or a pumice stone which will help stimulate circulation and release residues and speed up the cleaning process. The Turkish Bath may be accompanied by an infusion of essences from plants (appropriate for Turkish Baths) to be placed in the designated deposit. SCOTISH SHOWER On the ceiling there are three jets which can provide you with a Scottish Shower. This type of shower consists of the alternation between cold and hot sprays of water. The hot water works as a vasodilator and as a relaxant for the muscles while the cold water induces the contraction of blood vessels and muscles. This results in an excellent stimulation of blood circulation and tones the muscles in addition to making the skin more elastic. You can chose any of the jets to conduct this type of therapy. TURKISH BATH CHROMOTHERAPY Chromotherapy is another treatment that you may make use of (depending on the model). This treatment is based on the use of different coloured lights. The different coloured lights work as agents to regulate and stimulate your mood, working on the mind and body. Each colour causes different reactions on our mind and body, as it may stimulate, revitalise, sedate or relax. The cabin has three lighting spots. In addition to the white light, the colours may be chosen individually, resulting in a monochromatic session, or a session of automatic colours where the colours alternate from blue, violet, red, orange, yellow, green and back to blue again, as it continually repeats the sequence. Colours Blue calming, tranquilising and serene, induces relaxing and sleepiness. Violet creativeness, silence and nostalgia, reduces the feeling of excitement as it stimulates balance and creativity. Red exciting, energetic and revitalising, stimula- tes blood circulation, and helps take people out of apathetic states and it also stimulates hunger. Yellow happiness, energetic and optimistic, helps fight depression, stimulates good humour. Green relaxing, harmonious, calm, helps reduce the state of stress and irritability, putting in balance the energies lost along the day.
