ICONIC AWARDS: Innovative Interior 2022

Bath and Wellness

Sanindusa’s product design achieved international recognition thanks to the Sanlife textured wall hung toilet, designed by Melissa Vilar.

This piece received several awards from the German Design Council, at the Iconic Awards 2022: Innovative Interior award, in the Bath and Wellness category, one of the nine categories in this competition. The award was presented in Germany during a ceremony where the toilet was on display at an exclusive winners’ exhibition.

German Design Award 2022

Excellent Product Design (Special Mention)

The Sanlife textured wall hung toilet received a Special Mention in the Excellent Product Design category and the Bath and Wellness subcategory at the German Design Awards 2022. In 2022, about 4500 designs from 60 countries were entered into the German Design Awards, one of the most prestigious international design competitions. The award was handed in person to designer Melissa Vilar by the CEO of the German Design Council, Lutz Dietzold.

Red Dot Award 2022

Product Design

The Red Dot Award 2022 was won by Sanindusa, in the Product Design category. The award was given to the Sanlife textured wall hung toilet, designed by Melissa Vilar, who became the proud recipient of three international design awards.

This prestigious competition has been recognising excellence in design for over 60 years. The Red Dot label is synonymous with the best and translates into worldwide prestige and visibility.

iF Design Award 2016

Product

Sanindusa has once again achieved international recognition with one of its designs. The LINE 42 bathroom mixers won the Product award at the iF Design Awards 2016.

Emanuel Rufo is the proud designer of this collection.

The iF Design Awards, whose seal is synonymous with high quality and worldwide prestige, are one of the biggest and most important international design competitions.
These awards have been granted since 1953 by the iF International Forum Design, one of the world’s most widely recognised design institutions.

Design Plus 2005

The WCA sanitary ware collection has earned Sanindusa the Design Plus Award.

This collection was designed by the prestigious Architect Carvalho Araújo.

Created in 1983, the Design Plus Award is organised by the Messe Frankfurt Exhibition, in partnership with the German Design Council. This annual award, which recognises excellence in industrial design, is given to products that combine innovation, functionality and aesthetics.

Good Design Award 2005

Sanindusa has won yet another international award. The WCA collection has won the Good Design Award.

This collection was designed by the prestigious Architect Carvalho Araújo.

Organised annually by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design, in partnership with Metropolitan Arts Press Ltd, this prestigious Design award recognises the world’s most innovative, forward-looking projects.
