WashOne

The objective of the WashOne project is the design, technical development, prototyping and final validation of an innovative toilet that offers multiple features, namely a washlet system, a built-in storage and flush system and a urine separation system. All solutions will be studied and developed from a perspective of comfort, hygiene and sustainability, focused on essential aspects, not only related to personal hygiene, but also to the efficient use of resources.

This copromoted project was co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), through Operational Programme COMPETE 2020, and the Portuguese National Innovation Agency (ANI), though the Business Technological R&D Incentive System – Copromoted Projects.

The promoting consortium is formed by SANINDUSA, OLI and EVOLEO Services, and non-business entities University of Aveiro, ITECONS, University of Coimbra and ANQUIP.
